Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 October 2026
Early access: Aiko is an evolving, supervised early-access service. Features, availability and behavior may change as we test and improve the product.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Atannur’s website and the current parent-facing Aiko early-access experience. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

2. What Aiko is

Aiko is designed to help parents and caregivers think through and act on everyday questions about children’s digital lives. It may provide explanations, recommendations, setup guidance, links, research follow-ups and other practical support.

3. What Aiko is not

Aiko is not an emergency service, medical professional, lawyer, law-enforcement service, child-protection authority or guarantee of safety. Aiko does not promise that harm can be prevented in every situation. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency or professional support rather than relying on Aiko alone.

4. Accuracy and changing information

Digital platforms, device settings, laws and safety guidance can change. We aim to use current and reliable information, but information may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on guidance, particularly where a decision is sensitive or high impact.

5. Early-access limitations

The early-access service may be interrupted, unavailable, delayed or manually supervised. Research or human review may not always be available immediately. A statement that something needs research or review does not necessarily mean that work has already begun unless the service explicitly confirms it.

6. Responsible use

You must not use Aiko to obtain another person’s private information without authorization, impersonate another person deceptively, bypass safety controls, facilitate harmful or illegal activity, attack or interfere with the service, or attempt to obtain confidential system instructions or credentials.

7. Parent-facing account and child access

The current parent-facing experience is intended for adults. A phone number or device does not always prove who is physically using it. Users should protect access to private family conversations and should not allow a child or unauthorized person to use the service to access sensitive parent information.

8. Third-party services

Aiko may rely on or link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, device manufacturers, app platforms and other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes or outages in third-party products.

9. Intellectual property

The Atannur and Aiko names, character, original visual materials, product design and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party names, products and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Changes and suspension

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the early-access service as we develop it, address security or safety concerns, or comply with legal and platform requirements.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an early-access basis without a promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for every family or situation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Contact
